The day opened with a parade and continued all day. Kids of all ages enjoyed a carnival, games, and a car show. The event is an important part of Schaller’s history.
"Popcorn days have been going on for over 50 years, I think we are coming up on 55, 60, next year is the town of Schaller’s quas-centennial, which will probably be held during popcorn days, this year we have the McDermit’s rides and concession provide our carnival and free popcorn all day long, hence the name Popcorn Days," says Kurt Rininger, Schaller Chamber President.
To help battle the heat the event also included water fights for any one who was interested.
