the larger cities of Sioux City to the west and Fort Dodge to the east, Schaller has become a popular choice for people who enjoy the easy pace of a small town without sacrificing the conveniences of a big city. Visitors to Schaller will notice right away the friendliness of the community. Some residents have lived in Schaller their entire lives, and to this day, have had no desire to leave this small rural community. Schaller is a viable community with residents that strive hard at making the quality of life in Schaller an important mission.

turbines.
Schaller is proud of the services it has available to the community. It hosts a Public Library; Volunteer Fire Department; K-8 School
shared with Early, IA with the High School in Early; Locally-owned Telephone company; Post Office, multiple Religious organizations,
Bank, Coop Elevator, Grocery Store, an active Chamber of Commerce, Swimming Pool and other
businesses. They also host the annual Popcorn Days Celebration.
